Committee Charter
Purpose:
The Social Committee plans and coordinates functions to foster goodwill and enjoyment for residents.
Chairperson Responsibilities:

Notification of community events will be distributed by the Communication Committee from the Seven Lakes website and email server.
What being a volunteer on the social committee means:
The Social Committee plans and coordinates functions to foster goodwill and enjoyment for residents.
Chairperson Responsibilities:
- Organizing and planning self-supporting social, cultural and special activities for the benefit of the residents, i.e. community yard sales, food trucks, holiday events, etc. Special purpose use will require Board approval.
- Preparation & submission of periodic reports of social activities for Board meetings when requested.
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating monthly social activities and encouraging residents to serve as chairperson for those activities.
- Ensures overall adherence to annual budget and provides all receipts associated with events are property submitted to the Finance Committee for reimbursement.
- Identifies areas of "need" for new social events (i.e., ensures that events are planned to include singles, families, children, seniors, ethnic backgrounds, etc.)
- Recruits volunteers to assist with all aspects of event execution
